Ron Sun

Ron Sun has a strong background in software engineering and web development. Ron is currently working as a Senior Software Engineer at Lattice. Prior to this role, they worked as a Software Engineer III at Morning Consult from June 2020 to April 2022. Ron also gained experience at Social Tables as a Software Engineer II from February 2019 to June 2020 and at Fugue, Inc. as a Web Engineer from July 2018 to January 2019. Before transitioning to the tech industry, Ron worked as a Web Developer and Technology Consultant at Ignyte Group from January 2016 to July 2018. Ron also has experience in construction and project management, having worked at AvalonBay Communities as a Construction Systems Engineer for a brief period in 2015 and at HITT Contracting Inc. as an Assistant Project Manager from December 2014 to August 2015, and as a Project Engineer from January 2014 to December 2014. Ron began their career as an intern at Ruston Paving in 2013 and then worked as an Inspector at MBP (McDonough Bolyard Peck) in 2012.

Ron Sun attended Virginia Tech from 2009 to 2013, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Construction Engineering & Management. In 2016, they briefly attended General Assembly to study JavaScript Development. Ron also holds additional certifications, including "Blockchain: Beyond the Basics" from LinkedIn, which they obtained in January 2018, and "JavaScript Development Part-Time" from General Assembly.
