Lauris Alainis

Lauris Alainis is an accomplished IT Project Manager with extensive experience in the telecommunications and energy sectors. Currently serving as the Head of IT Unit at Latvenergo AS since November 2014, Lauris specializes in smart grid systems and asset management. Prior roles include Customer Service Director at Hansab and IT Solutions Department Manager at HORTUS Digital, overseeing technical staff and project management. Lauris also held several positions at Lattelecom from 2005 to 2012, including Head of Corporate Customers Helpdesk and Project Management Department Manager. Lauris holds a Master's degree in Economy from Latvijas Universitate and an Engineering degree in Telecommunications from Riga Technical College.
