Ivo Odītis

Ivo Odītis has extensive work experience in various roles within the IT and academic sectors. Ivo started their career at the Bank of Latvia in 1992, working as a Software Developer before being promoted to Software Project Manager and eventually Deputy Head of IT. In 2012, they joined AS Expobank as the Head of IT Department. Ivo then transitioned to SIA DIVI Grupa in 2013 as a Project Manager, where they remained until 2023. In 2022, they also took on a role as a Tractor Driver at SIA Baldones Upenes. In 2017, Ivo began their tenure at Latvijas Universitate, starting as an Assistant and later becoming a Docents and finally an Associate Professor. Ivo is currently employed at Latvijas Banka as a Software Development Project Manager.

Ivo Odītis obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree in Computer Science from Latvijas Universitate, completing their studies from 2009 to 2016. Ivo also received a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Computer Science from the same institution, studying from 1992 to 1998. Prior to their higher education, Ivo attended Rīgas 1. ģimnāzija from 1984 to 1992, although it is not specified whether they obtained a degree or field of study from this educational institution.

In addition to their formal education, Ivo Odītis has obtained several certifications. Ivo became a Certified Information Security Manager (CISM) from the institution ISACA in July 2018. Furthermore, they obtained the certifications of Microsoft Certified Solutions Developer (MCSD): App Builder in May 2018, Exam 463: Implementing a Data Warehouse with Microsoft SQL Server 2012/2014 in May 2014, MCSA: SQL Server 2012/2014 in May 2014, and MCSD: Web Applications in December 2013, all from Microsoft.
