Lauris Berzins

Lauris Berzins has a extensive work experience in the field of software testing and development. Lauris started their career at DATI as a Software Developer in 1998 and worked there until 2004. In 2004, they joined Latvijas Banka where they held various roles over the years. Lauris started as a Test Engineer from 2004-2010, then progressed to the position of Senior Test Engineer from 2010-2022, and currently holds the role of Principal Test Engineer from 2022 to present.

Lauris Berzins obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science from Rīgas Tehniskā universitāte (Riga Technical University) from 1994 to 1998. Following that, they pursued a Master's Degree in Information Technology from the same university from 1998 to 2000. Additionally, Lauris Berzins obtained the ISTQB Certified Tester Foundation Level certification in June 2007 from iSQI GmbH -- International Software Quality Institute.
