Romans Fomicevs

Romans Fomicevs is an accomplished infrastructure architect at Latvijas Banka since April 2008, with experience leading complex projects and teams. Previous roles include networks and systems architect, senior networks and systems administrator, and networks administrator, where Romans Fomicevs focused on IP networking, Unified Communications implementation, and various network enhancements. Before Latvijas Banka, positions at Balticom and Belam-Riga involved network engineering, team leadership, client support coordination, and technology education. As deputy chief of the IT department at the State Sanitary Inspection, responsibilities included network and server support, as well as VPN and security deployment. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from Latvijas Universitate and multiple VMware certifications.
