Latvijas Televīzija
Edgars Raginskis is a seasoned broadcast professional with extensive experience as a general manager at Smiltene Culture Centre, and as a news anchor at Latvijas Televīzija and broadcast journalist at Latvijas Radio since 2021. Previous roles include journalism at Latvijas Radio from 2006 to 2019 and serving as a culture news anchor at Latvian Television from 2013 to 2018. With strong improvisational skills and the ability to adapt to unforeseen circumstances during live broadcasts, Edgars has a solid academic foundation, holding a PhD in Music History, Literature, and Theory from Hong Kong Baptist University, alongside a Master’s and Bachelor’s degree in Music Theory and Composition from the Estonian Music and Theatre Academy and Jazepa Vitola Latvijas Muzikas Akademija, respectively.
