Currently serving as a Student News Writer for The College of Science at the University of Nevada, Reno since November 2018, Kendra focuses on creating impactful news content. In addition, Kendra has been the Manager at Laughing Planet Cafe since April 2016, demonstrating strong leadership and operational skills. Kendra holds a Bachelor's degree in Journalism/Public Relations from the University of Nevada, Reno, earned in 2019.

Laughing Planet Café is a quick-service restaurant that offers fresh, healthy, and affordable food, using locally sourced, organic ingredients and globally inspired flavors. Our menu includes a wide variety of burritos, bowls, salads, soups, quesadillas, smoothies, organic green juices, freshly baked desserts, and more. Diners will find tons of vegan and vegetarian options, a family friendly environment, and restaurant management that is committed to the neighborhood and to local food growers. In 2013, Laughing Planet received The Nature Conservancy’s Nature’s Plate Award, given to Oregon’s Top Green Restaurant.
