Florence Bavanandan

Florence Bavanandan has a diverse work experience starting in 2016 as a Community Associate at MyTutor.co.uk. Florence then went on to become the Co-Founder and COO of Alta from 2018 to 2019. Subsequently, they worked as a Guest Lecturer at ICMP - The Institute of Contemporary Music Performance in 2019. From 2019 to 2020, they held the role of Course Manager & Course Staff at the National Youth Choirs of Great Britain. In 2019, they also worked as a Communication Consultant and Executive Coach at Clear Voice. In 2022, Florence joined Included VC as a Venture Capital Fellow and moved on to become a Venture Capital Fellow Alumni. Currently, they are the Portfolio & Operations Associate at Launch Africa Ventures and will begin their role as Head of Platform and Operations in May 2023.

Florence Bavanandan attended Culford School for their early education and went on to graduate from Royal Holloway, University of London with a BA (Hons) in Music with Italian. Florence later obtained an Executive Coaching Certificate from Guildhall School of Music & Drama and became an Accredited Mediator from the Society of Mediators. Additionally, they received a VC Fellowship from Included VC in 2022.
