Kamo Motaung

Kamo Motaung is a venture capitalist and startup entrepreneur. Kamo is currently an Associate at Launch Africa Ventures, a position they have held since July 2021. Prior to that, Kamo interned at Hlayisani Capital from March to July 2021, where they were responsible for new deal analysis and due diligence, company valuation and forecasting, portfolio company pitch decks and investment memorandums, investment evaluations and investigations.

From September 2016 to June 2018, Kamo was an Entrepreneur In Residence at The Innovation Hub, where they incubated and commercialised their startup AFFIX. Affix is a recruitment platform that aims to give students work experience whilst simultaneously assisting companies to evaluate candidates using a unique process.

Prior to their work in venture capital and startups, Kamo was Co-Founder of QUBIS TECHNOLOGIES from May 2016 to August 2018.
