Danielle Blount has worked in a variety of roles in the past decade. Danielle began their career in 2010 as a Student Assistant at SUNY at Buffalo Law School and a Lacrosse Coach and Golf Coach at Mount St. Mary Academy. In 2012, they interned at The Office of Senator Kirsten E. Gillibrand. In 2013, they became a Network Development Associate at BlueCross BlueShield of Western New York, and in 2015 they were an Investigative Intern at the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission and a Project Manager & ECO Incubator Program Coordinator, Project Assistant, and Project Manangement Intern at Launch NY. In 2016, they became Director of Business Development and Marketing and Program Content Mananger at Blount Consulting Solutions, LLC, and in 2017 they became the Owner of Lily and Grey. Most recently, in 2023, they became a Limited Partner at Good Neighbor Fund.

Danielle Blount started their educational journey in 2009 when they obtained a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Political Science and International Studies from SUNY at Buffalo. In 2011, they also obtained a Politics degree from the University of York. In 2013, they obtained a Master's Certificate in Project Management from Villanova University. Finally, in 2014 they obtained a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Business Administration and Management, General from the University at Buffalo. Danielle also has a certification in CPR. Danielle attended Mount Saint Mary Academy prior to their college education.
