Alberto Ferretti has several years of work experience in various roles and industries. Alberto started their career as an intern at Albergo Ristorante San Marco, where they gained experience in receptionist and director's assistant duties. Alberto then worked at Consaf Education Agency, where they completed a training course on hotel management and directorship. Alberto later joined Equitalia Esatri as a data managing employee and tax auditor, responsible for data organization and quality checks in tax proceedings. Alberto then worked at GfK Retail and Technology as a linguistic specialist and team coordinator, overseeing the development and quality assurance of the Seller Tag web platform. Alberto also worked as a leadsgenerator at Jobrapido and as an internet assessor at Lionbridge. Alberto has freelanced as a translator, proofreader, and editor in various language pairs and areas of expertise. Alberto also worked at Media Monitoring International as a management assistant. Currently, they are working at Launchmetrics in the role of DataOps Quality Assurance Controller, managing the quality process of the Print DataOps Team and supporting the Data Entry team through the Support Desk. In their most recent role at Launchmetrics, they became the DataOps QA Team Lead.
Alberto Ferretti has a diverse educational background in language studies and translation. In 2002, they began their undergraduate studies at the University of Genova, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Foreign Languages and Literature in 2007. Following this, from 2006 to 2007, they pursued an independent research project on Ancient Swedish and Norse Languages, for which they completed a thesis at Uppsala University.
In 2011, Alberto enrolled in a Master's program at the Università degli Studi di Bari, Università degli Studi di Genova, and Università degli Studi di Pisa. During this period, which lasted until 2012, they pursued a Master's degree in specialized translation. The program covered a range of subjects including English, Law, Computer Science, Translation Theory, and Italian Linguistics.
Aside from their formal education, Alberto Ferretti has also obtained a certification in English proficiency. In April 2020, they successfully passed the EF Set English Certificate with a score of 72/100, which indicates a C2 Proficiency level. The certification was awarded by the EF Standard English Test (EF SET) institution.
