Mergen Battur

Mergen Battur is a Full Stack Engineer currently at LaunchPad Lab since March 2021, focusing on delivering a variety of software projects in collaboration with team members and clients. Prior experience includes a role at Chowly, Inc. from February 2017 to March 2021, where Mergen built and maintained critical restaurant point of sale integrations and enhanced server-side and client-side applications using Ruby on Rails and Ember. Earlier experience as a Junior Full Stack Developer involved the creation of key integrations and improvements to internal tools. Mergen began a professional journey as a Full-Stack Web Development Apprentice at Bloc, Inc., developing applications with Ruby on Rails and other technologies. Mergen also has a background as a Legal Analyst at Korein Tillery. Mergen holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Southern Illinois University, Carbondale, and a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from the University of Illinois Chicago, supplemented by training at Bloc from 2015 to 2016.
