Guest Speaker at Laura's House

Jessica Miller is currently serving as a Volunteer Associate MFT and PCC at the Wellness & Prevention Center and as an Associate MFT and PCC at TBH Therapy since August 2023. Jessica has extensive experience as a Guest Speaker at Laura's House, focusing on survivor confidentiality, victim privilege, and counseling techniques, as well as presenting community agency information about Laura's House services. Additionally, Jessica contributes as a Lead Therapist at Pepperdine University Graduate School of Education and Psychology, where involvement includes guest speaking on theories of counseling and lifespan development, and serves as a Guest Lecturer at California State University, Fullerton on topics related to domestic violence and couples counseling. Since 1994, Laura’s House has provided residential shelter, transitional and support services to nearly 6,500 families, and counseling, life skills education and legal assistance to over 68,000 individuals. The mission of Laura’s House is to change the social beliefs, attitudes and the behaviors that perpetuate domestic violence while creating a safe space in which to empower individuals and families affected by abuse.
