Nicole Willkomm is an experienced professional with a background in education and social behavior, holding dual Bachelor of Arts degrees from UC Irvine. Currently serving as Volunteer Manager at Laura's House since April 2022, Nicole previously worked as Practice Manager at the Mind Health Institute from May 2021 to May 2022. Prior experience includes a role as Assistant Site Supervisor at Continuing Development Inc | Child Development Centers, where responsibilities included managing staff on compliance audits and training new educators. Since 1994, Laura’s House has provided residential shelter, transitional and support services to nearly 6,500 families, and counseling, life skills education and legal assistance to over 68,000 individuals. The mission of Laura’s House is to change the social beliefs, attitudes and the behaviors that perpetuate domestic violence while creating a safe space in which to empower individuals and families affected by abuse.
