Laurel Life
Rachel Ramos is an experienced outpatient therapist currently working at Laurel Life and Safe Harbor Christian Counseling since 2021. Prior to these roles, Rachel served as an art therapist and psychotherapist/case manager at Hoffman Homes for Youth from 2011 to 2022, providing therapeutic services to young individuals aged 8-14. Additional internships and assistant positions include art therapy in various settings such as Concern Therapeutic Foster Care, Potomac Ridge Adventist Hospital, and Children's National Medical Center, where Rachel facilitated art therapy sessions for children and adolescents with diverse needs. Rachel holds a Certificate of Advanced Graduate Studies in Counseling from Messiah University, a Master’s degree in Art Therapy from The George Washington University, and a Bachelor's degree in Psychology and Studio Art from Messiah University.

We at Laurel Life recognize that most individuals in need of behavioral health services are trauma survivors. By addressing trauma and dealing with the root causes of problem behaviors. Laurel Life provides behavioral health services in home, community, educational, and office settings throughout South Central Pennsylvania. Treatment through all of Laurel Life's available programs are strength based, recovery oriented, and promote resiliency with a focus on self-determination and building protective factors.
