Laurel Ridge Treatment Center
Maiya Patlan is currently a Mental Health Worker at Laurel Ridge Treatment Center since May 2023. Prior experience includes serving as a Social Work Intern at Cyndi Taylor Krier Juvenile Treatment Center from January 2024 to August 2024 and working as a Transformational Services Coordinator Intern at Haven for Hope from January 2023 to August 2023, where responsibilities included collaboration with clients and team members on service provision. Maiya previously worked as a Childcare Worker at YMCA of Greater San Antonio from August 2021 to January 2023, and held positions at Angelo State University as a Welcome Desk Attendant and Summer Camp Counselor. Education includes a Master of Social Work degree anticipated in August 2024 and a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice/Police Science earned in 2022 from Angelo State University, along with completion of high school at Clark High School in 2018.

In 1987, Laurel Ridge Treatment Center opened its doors to provide specialized behavioral health care and addiction treatment on a therapeutic 18-acre campus, located in North Central San Antonio, Texas. Our 250-bed facility was designed with one mission in mind: Saving Lives, Healing Families, Creating Hope. The facility includes a charter school, gymnasium, recreational facility, playgrounds, swimming pool, ROPES (Reality-Oriented Physical Experiential Situation Course), library and dining room.
