Zakaria Hammama

Zakaria Hammama has extensive experience in the financial services sector, currently serving as an Associate in Debt Capital Markets at Laurentian Bank Securities since May 2023. Previously, Zakaria held the position of Advisor for Business Strategy in the President and CEO's Office at Laurentian Bank Financial Group, contributing to strategic initiatives that enhanced the bank's competitive advantage and market position. Before that, Zakaria served as a Business Analyst for the Executive Committee and facilitated strategic efforts for the Retail and Commercial business units. Zakaria's experience also includes a role as an Equity Research Analyst at McGill University's Desautels Faculty of Management, where analysis of stock performance and development of quantitative investment strategies were key responsibilities. Zakaria holds a Master's degree in Finance from McGill University and a Bachelor's degree in Economics from the University of Alberta.
