Wen Sun

Wen Sun, M.Sc., CFA has a diverse work experience in the finance industry. Currently, Sun is working as a Principal Analyst in Credit Risk Management at Banque Laurentienne, a position they have held since January 2023. Prior to this role, they served as a Senior Analyst in Credit Risk Management at the same company from May 2021 to December 2022.

Previous to their time at Banque Laurentienne, Sun worked at Desjardins where they held the role of Business Intelligence Analyst in Treasury and Financial Markets from August 2020 to May 2021. Before that, they worked as a Business Analyst from December 2018 to August 2020.

Sun also gained experience at the Canadian Derivatives Clearing Corporation (CDCC), where they served as a Risk Management Analyst from July 2015 to November 2018.

Sun began their career in the finance industry as an Investment Analyst at National Bank Financial in April 2015, where they worked until May 2015.

Sun's early experience includes an internship at BNP Paribas in Private Banking from April 2012 to August 2012.

Wen Sun, M.Sc., CFA, has a strong educational background in finance and asset management. Wen obtained their Master of Science (M.Sc.) degree in Finance from HEC Montréal, where they studied from 2012 to 2014. Prior to that, they completed a Master's degree in Asset Management at Université Paris Dauphine - PSL from 2011 to 2012. Before their Master's degree, Wen Sun earned a Bachelor's degree in Asset Management from Université Paris Dauphine - PSL, which they pursued in 2010 and 2011. Wen also holds a University Diploma of Technology in Management, Finance, and Accounting from IUT de Sceaux, where they studied from 2008 to 2010.

In addition to their academic qualifications, Wen Sun has obtained a certification in Business Analysis from Université Laval in November 2020, further enhancing their expertise in the field.
