Genevieve Coutu

Genevieve Coutu has extensive experience in the financial industry, with a focus on equity trading. Genevieve most recently worked at Valeurs mobilières Banque Laurentienne Inc. as the Managing Director and Head of Equity Trading, a position they held in 2018. Prior to that, they were the Director of Equity Trading at the same company from July 2018 to November 2018. Before joining Valeurs mobilières Banque Laurentienne Inc., Genevieve worked at Pavilion Global Markets from 2003 to 2018, where they held various roles such as Sales & Trading for the Americas and Institutional Equity Sales Trader. Genevieve began their career at National Bank Financial in 2000 as an Institutional Equity Trader, where they worked until 2002.

Genevieve Coutu completed their Bachelor of Business Administration (BAA) degree in Finance from HEC Montréal from 1994 to 1997. In addition to their formal education, they obtained the WCMSoar certification from Women in Capital Markets in June 2022.
