Mark Rothert serves as the Executive Director of Lauri Ann West Community Center since March 2023. Prior to this role, Mark worked at Intervala, LLC from January 2017 to March 2023 as Strategic Business Manager, focusing on high-reliability electronic and electromechanical products for key industries. From November 2014 to January 2017, Mark was Plant Manager at General Carbide Corporation, overseeing the manufacturing of Tungsten Carbide products for various sectors. Mark also held the position of Director of Business Operations for Aerospace/Defense at Oberg Industries from January 1999 to January 2014, managing manufacturing solutions for diverse industries. Early career experience includes roles as Technical Manager and Business Unit Manager at Forms+Surfaces, and Operations Manager at Doerr Brothers Incorporated. Mark holds a Master of Science in Manufacturing Systems Engineering and a Bachelor of Arts in Business/Geography from the University of Pittsburgh.

Lauri Ann West Community Center
Lauri Ann West Community Center, located on Powers Run Road in O’Hara Township, serves the Fox Chapel Area School District. The Center’s Arts and Enrichment After School program, certified and inspected by the Pennsylvania Office of Child Development and Early Learning, provides busing from all four elementary schools. Additional programming includes summer camps, classes and lectures for all ages, family-friendly events, as well as a fitness center and gymnasium.
