Brian Thomas

Brian Thomas is a Portfolio Manager at Laurium Capital Pty Ltd since February 2017. Before that, Brian served a restraint of trade and worked at Coronation Fund Managers as a Fund Manager from September 2013 to February 2017. Prior to their time at Coronation, Brian held the position of Managing Director at Deutsche Bank from January 2008 to August 2013, where Brian was Head of CEMEA Equity Sales. Brian also worked as a Director at Deutsche Bank from May 2000 to 2007, focusing on South Africa Equity Sales. Brian began their career at Deloitte & Touche as a Manager from 1996 to 2000. Brian holds a B.Bus.Sci degree in Finance from the University of Cape Town, where Brian studied from 1991 to 1995. Brian completed their secondary education at Michaelhouse from 1985 to 1990.
