Michael Laurysen

Michael Laurysen has extensive work experience in the kitchen manufacturing industry. Michael started their career at Laurysen Kitchens Ltd. in 2010 as a Summer Employee and later progressed to roles such as Quality Control Manager and Production Manager. In March 2022, they became the Vice President of Operations at Laurysen Kitchens Ltd. Additionally, they served as a Cabinetmaking and Furniture Technician Advisory Committee Member at Algonquin College starting in December 2013. Before that, they worked as a Pro Shop Employee at Doug Mitchell UBC Thunderbird Arena from September 2009 to April 2010.

Michael Laurysen received their High School Diploma from Sacred Heart Catholic High School in 2006, where they were recognized as an Ontario Scholar. Michael then went on to earn a Bachelor of Science degree in Wood Products Processing from The University of British Columbia, which they completed in 2010.
