Ed Morley has extensive work experience in the gaming industry. Ed currently holds the position of Chief Technology Officer at Lava Labs. Prior to this role, they worked as a Director at Unabated Games, where they coordinated a small team of developers and was involved in business development, game design, and game engine architecture. Before that, they served as the CTO at Lockwood Publishing Ltd and also worked as a Lead Programmer and Producer. Ed was responsible for developing the Games Warehouse game engine and made extensive use of OpenGL and 3D graphics. Ed Morley has also worked at Criterion Software / EA as a Lead Software Engineer, Rage Games PLC as a Software Engineer, Runecraft as a Lead Programmer, Iguana Entertainment / Acclaim Studios Teesside as a Programmer, Simtex Ltd as a Lead Programmer, and Clockwork Games as a Programmer. Ed'sroles in these positions involved various aspects of game development, including programming, graphics, and porting games to different platforms.

Ed Morley attended Christ the King R.C. School from 1988 to 1991. After that, they studied at Redhill Comprehensive School from 1991 to 1993. Finally, they pursued a BTEC National Diploma in Computer Studies at Arnold and Carlton FE College from 1993 to 1996.
