Luis Ho Ku

Luis is an unstoppable force. He's literally always on the go running the NYC marathon and other half marathons and is constantly on the lookout for new things to learn and challenge himself with every day.

His drive might be due to his unique upbringing; Luis grew up speaking Chinese with his parents but was actually born in Panama where he learned to speak fluent Spanish. He came to NY for high school, later moved to Canada for college, and began his career as a Designer and Fullstack Engineer. Prior to LavaMap, he moved back to the US (where he now resides full time) to work for a major airline company as a Senior Front End Developer.

Luis enjoys coding but has also developed skills in graphics using Photoshop, Illustrator, and After Effect. In fact, he's helped an array of companies build new e-commerce sites and web apps by designing, developing, and building databases for their businesses.
