Dario Toso

Dario Toso currently serves as the Head of the Scientific Board at the Center for Circular Economy in Coffee, where the focus is on advancing circular practices in the coffee supply chain through a global network of partners. Since January 2019, Toso has been with Lavazza Group as the Product Sustainability & Circular Economy Manager, leading eco-design initiatives and representing the company in various technical committees. Previous roles include co-founding 4th-Phase Inc. and serving as a Senior Postdoctoral Fellow at the University of Washington, where research centered on water purification technologies. With a strong background in sustainability consulting and academic research, Toso holds multiple degrees from Politecnico di Torino, including a Ph.D. in Production System & Industrial Design.
