Saravanakumar also held the position of Head of Customer Support GIO Team for Tamil Nadu, where they designed solutions for enterprise customers and handled escalations from support and operations teams.

Further back in their career, Saravanakumar was the Head of IT Infra and Training Division at Accel Limited, where they managed IT infrastructure, conducted ISO audits, and led training projects. Saravanakumar also worked as a System and Network Administrator at Chennai Software Solutions.

Saravanakumar Selvaraj holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Computer/Information Technology Administration and Management from Bharathidasan University, where they studied from 2004 to 2007. Saravanakumar also has a Bachelor's degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from KCG College of Technology, which they completed from 2000 to 2003. Prior to their bachelor's degree, Saravanakumar obtained a Diploma in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Murugappa Polytechnic, where they studied from 1997 to 2000.

In addition to their educational qualifications, Saravanakumar has acquired several certifications. Saravanakumar became a Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH) through EC-Council in June 2019. In July 2016, they obtained both CCNA certifications – Routing & Switching and Wireless – from Cisco.
