Alice Abreu Torres

Alice Abreu Torres is an accomplished R&D Scientist at Laverock Therapeutics since April 2024, with prior experience as a Senior Scientist at Revvity from May 2023 to April 2024. Alice has a strong academic background, having served as a Postdoctoral Research Associate at the University of Cambridge in both Prof. Louise Boyle's group and Prof. Geoffrey Smith's group between June 2016 and May 2023. Alice completed a PhD at Universidade Federal de Minas Gerais, where research spanned from February 2012 to January 2016, and also held a Visiting PhD Student position at the University of Cambridge in 2014. Academic qualifications include a Master's Degree in Microbiology and Virology from Universidade Federal de Minas Gerais (2010-2012) and a Bachelor's Degree in Biology from the same institution (2004-2008).
