Angelo Fefekos

Angelo Fefekos has over 18 years of experience in the healthcare industry. Angelo is currently the SVP of Regulatory Affairs & Quality Assurance at Lavvan.

Prior to their current role, Angelo was the Senior Vice President of Clinical Affairs & Quality Compliance at MedReleaf Corp from February 2014 to September 2018. In this role, they were responsible for the development, execution and tracking of sales and communications.

From October 2013 to February 2014, Angelo was the Manager of Sales and Marketing at Mount Sinai Services where they were responsible for identifying and developing new partnerships to drive new customers towards research services and platform validations.

Angelo began their career at Mount Sinai Hospital in Toronto in January 2002 as the Manager of the Division of Diagnostic Medical Genetics. In this role, they managed a team of 40 laboratory employees with an operating budget of $6M. Angelo also collaborated with over 50 genetic counselors, physicians, surgeons, pathologists and various research institutes to align their patient and business objectives with the divisions deliverables.

Angelo Fefekos has an Executive Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Athabasca University, a Post Baccalaureate Diploma in Management (PBDM) from Athabasca University, a Masters Certificate in Sales, Distribution, and Marketing Operations from the University of San Francisco, a Certificate in Business, Management, Marketing, and Related Support Services from Ryerson University, a Certified Tissue Bank Specialist (CTBS) from the American Association of Tissue Banks, a Diploma in Transplant Procurement Management/Tissue Banking and Advance Therapies from Universitat de Barcelona, and a Medical Laboratory Technologist (MLT) from the Canadian Society For Medical Laboratory Science/College of Medical Laboratory Technologists of ON.
