Greg McIntyre is an accomplished legal professional with extensive experience in leadership roles within various organizations. Currently serving as President of the Law Council of Australia and holding multiple past titles including President Elect and Treasurer, Greg also acts as Vice President and Senior Vice President of the International Commission of Jurists. Additional roles include Western Australian Patron for the Justice Reform Initiative, Board Chair for Law Access Limited, and Senior Counsel & Head of Chambers at Michael Kirby Chambers. Notably, Greg has been involved with the International Commission of Jurists, Western Australian Branch as President, where responsibilities include chairing meetings and advocating for the Rule of Law and International Human Rights standards. Previous positions include President and Immediate Past President of The Law Society of Western Australia and Director at the Law Council of Australia. Greg began a career as Senior Counsel at John Toohey Chambers in 1993, demonstrating a long-standing commitment to the legal profession.
