Michael Lhuede is a seasoned insolvency and restructuring specialist with extensive experience across various prominent organizations. Currently serving as a Fellow at the ARITA since December 2008, Michael has also been a board member of the VIC/TAS committee since 2016. As a Partner at Piper Alderman since October 2004, engagement includes advising companies and directors on distressed business restructures and participating in significant bankruptcy administrations in Australia. Michael's involvement with the Law Council of Australia includes a long-standing membership on the Insolvency and Reconstruction Committee, where Michael held the role of National Chair from 2014 to 2015 and led the Victorian Sub-committee from 2011 to 2013. Michael's legal career began as an Articled Clerk at JM Smith & Emmerton in 1992, culminating in a partnership at Gadens before transitioning to Piper Alderman. Education includes a degree from Monash University, completed between 1988 and 1992.
