Cynthia L. Chagolla has a diverse work experience in the legal field. Cynthia L. is currently serving as the Chief Program Officer at the Law Foundation of Silicon Valley. Prior to this, they worked as the Directing Attorney at Bet Tzedek Legal Services from May 2018 to December 2022. Cynthia L. also worked as a Staff Attorney at Bay Area Legal Aid from May 2016 to May 2018 and at California Rural Legal Assistance, Inc. from October 2012 to May 2016. Additionally, they gained experience as a Law Graduate Fellow at the Georgia Legal Services Program, Farmworker Rights Division from November 2011 to May 2012 and as a Judicial Intern at the United States District Court, S.D.N.Y from January 2011 to May 2011. Cynthia L. has also interned at various organizations such as Make the Road NY, Urban Justice Center- Community Development Project, LatinoJustice PRLDEF, and served as a Clinical Law Student Intern at the Elder Law Clinic.
Cynthia L. Chagolla completed their B.A. degree in European History and Middle East Studies at UC San Diego. Cynthia L. later pursued further education at Utrecht University where they obtained a UCU degree in International Honors College. Cynthia also attended St. John's University School of Law from 2008 to 2011, completing their J.D. degree.
