George Gebbett

George Gebbett has worked in a variety of roles in the finance and technology sectors. In 2017, they began working as an Associate at EY, where their role involved assisting the audit team to identify material misstatements in the financial statements of Government and Public Sector clients. In 2018, they moved to Metro Bank (UK) as a Customer Service Representative, where they were responsible for opening accounts for customers, both retail and business. In 2019, they joined Halifax as a Customer Service Assistant, and also began working at Starling Bank as a Payment Fraud Prevention Specialist and Customer Service Team Member. Their most recent role is as a Full-Stack Engineer at Lawhive, which they began in 2022.

George Gebbett is currently enrolled in a Bachelor of Laws - LLB program at the University of Southampton, which they began in 2019 and is expected to complete in 2022. In addition to their degree, they have obtained certifications in React (Basic) from HackerRank (November 2021), Data Analysis with Python and Information Security from freeCodeCamp (October 2021), Javascript (Basic) and Python (Basic) from HackerRank (October 2021), Back End Development and APIs, Quality Assurance, and Scientific Computing with Python from freeCodeCamp (September 2021), Front End Libraries from freeCodeCamp (August 2021), JavaScript Algorithms and Data Structures and Responsive Web Design from freeCodeCamp (May 2021).
