Facility Manager at Lawler-Wood

Bill Hartsfield currently serves as the Facility Manager for the John C. Drummond Center in Amarillo, TX. The 343,000 SF Drummond Center was financed, designed, constructed and leased by LawlerWood and contains office, laboratory, medical, training, and conference spaces for more than 1,100 employees at the Pantex National Security Complex in Panhandle, TX. Prior to LawlerWood, Mr. Hartsfield managed facilities for a public utilities company with both historical and modern structures covering over 750 square miles. Bill has successfully managed numerous facility-related projects, including larger building construction projects, renovation and retrofitting projects, geotechnical projects, as well as lead paint and asbestos remediation. He is skilled in the areas of facility start-ups, staffing, fine-tuning commercial equipment systems, and installation of new systems. With widely diverse responsibilities and assignments, Mr. Hartsfield proudly served in the United States Navy for twenty-seven years. He has a B.S. in Engineering and is a Certified Facility Manager who is actively involved in the Building Owners and Managers Association (BOMA) and International Facility Management Association (IFMA).
