Lawndale Elementary School District
Jessica Schilling is a Learning Center Teacher/Special Education Case Manager at Lawndale Elementary School District since August 2017. Jessica also founded A Peaceful Parent in April 2008, offering parenting classes and private consultations. With a background in special education and psychology, Jessica has worked as an Educational Consultant, Child Development Instructor, Preschool Teacher, and in various other roles prior to their current position. Their expertise spans across teaching, advocacy, parent education, social skills teaching, and behavior consulting.
Lawndale Elementary School District
The Lawndale Elementary School District was established in 1906 with one teacher and 20 students. Since then, the District has blossomed to more than 4,700 students and more than 800 teachers and staff. Lawndale Elementary School District serves students from preschool through grade eight. There are now eight schools in the District. Six elementary schools serve Kindergarten through 5th grade: William Anderson, William Green, Billy Mitchell, Franklin D. Roosevelt, Lucille J. Smith, and Mark Twain. Jane Addams Middle School and Will Rogers Middle School serve students in the 6th, 7th, and 8th grades.
