Karla Moreno

Karla Moreno is an experienced educator currently serving as an Elementary Special Education Teacher at Lawndale Elementary School District since August 2021. In this role, Karla develops individualized educational plans for students with diverse needs, teaches ELA and Math in both English and Spanish, and manages academic assessments. Previous experience includes a position as a Summer School High School Special Education Teacher and a Resource Specialist Teacher at Alliance College-Ready Public Schools, where Karla facilitated lessons, collaborated with other educators, and maintained documentation for student progress. Karla holds a Master’s degree in Education from Alliant International University, a Bachelor’s degree from the University of California, Berkeley, and an Associate’s degree from El Camino College.
