Sarah Kemen

Sarah Kemen is an experienced educator specializing in English language development, with a notable history in teaching and instructional leadership. Currently serving as an English Learner Instructional Resource Teacher at Lawndale Elementary School District since August 2017, Sarah previously worked as an ELD Teacher and School Site EL Lead at Green Dot Public Schools, where responsibilities included creating differentiated lessons, leading professional development, and coordinating ELD programs. Sarah's earlier roles include teaching ESL and social studies in Northfield Public Schools and various teaching positions in Minneapolis Public Schools, including long-term substitute and student teaching roles.
