Marco Morasch

Marco Morasch has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Marco started their career in 1995 as a Verlagskaufmann at BNN - Badische Neueste Nachrichten Badendruck GmbH. Marco then moved up the ranks and worked as a Trainee IT Specialist Administrator and later as an IT-Systemadministrator (IT-Specialist) in their 15-member EDV department. Marco focused on server administration and the operation of the data center.

In 2007, Marco shifted their focus to modern communication systems as an IT Specialist E-Mail, Microsoft Systems, Antivirus. Marco also took on the role of IT Specialist Teilprojektleitung Bereich MS-Exchange & Kommunikation from 2015 to 2017. During this time, they worked on email, telephone, and fax systems in a newspaper publishing company.

From 2017 to 2022, Marco served as an IT-Projektleiter Schwerpunkt Kommunikationssysteme at BNN. Marco handled administrative tasks, managed server systems, and led projects for the implementation of new communication systems, including videokonferenzsysteme and UC-systeme.

In 1996, Marco began their long-standing commitment to Deutsches Rotes Kreuz Rettungsdienst, where they worked as a Notfallsanitäter / Rettungsassistent / Rettungssanitäter. Marco also held positions as Leiter einer DRK Bereitschaft and was trained as an Organisatorischer Leiter Rettungsdienst and Verbandführer der Hilfsorganisationen im Katastrophenschutz.

Starting in 2023, Marco will take on the role of Head of IT at Lawo, where they will be responsible for managing the IT department.

Marco Morasch completed their Bachelor Professional in IT Business Management (CCI) (DQR6) at the IHK Bildungszentrum Karlsruhe from 2018 to 2021. Marco also obtained a Projektmanagement nach Prince 2 certification from the same institution in 2018. Prior to that, they completed a Notfallsanitäter program at the DRK Bildungszentrum Kreisverband Dortmund in 2016 and a Rettungsassistent program at the Rettungsdienst Akademie Franz Heinzmann from 2004 to 2006. Their earliest education was in Verlagskaufmann / Industriekaufmann Schwerpunkt Zeitungsverlage, which they completed at the IHK Karlsruhe from 1995 to 1998.
