Daniel Alcazar-Roman has a diverse work experience in the field of education. Daniel is currently serving as the Associate Director of the Learning Design Group at the Lawrence Hall of Science, UC Berkeley. Prior to this, they worked as an independent educational consultant since 2012. From 2017 to 2021, they were employed as a Science Assessment Specialist at the DC Office of the State Superintendent of Education. Before that, they held roles as a Science Curriculum Developer and Science Supervisor at Alexandria City Public Schools from 2012 to 2017. Daniel began their career in education as a Science Curriculum Specialist and later became a Teacher at Houston ISD from 2003 to 2012.
Daniel Alcazar-Roman obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering from Lipscomb University between 1994 and 1999. Daniel then pursued a Master of Education (MEd) in Education Administration from Texas Southern University from 2007 to 2009.
