Lana Wong is a seasoned materials engineer with extensive experience in the refractories industry. Since June 2002, Lana has been employed at Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory (LLNL) as a Materials Engineer. Prior to this role, Lana served as a Senior Research Engineer at National Refractories & Minerals from June 1998 to June 2002, contributing to the development of innovative specialty products, including self-flowing and pumpable materials. Lana's earlier career includes a position as a Senior Research & Development Engineer at A.P. Green Industries, Inc. from January 1989 to April 1998, where notable achievements involved a broad product line for refractory applications. Lana Wong earned a Master of Science in Materials Science & Engineering and a Bachelor of Science in Ceramic Engineering from the University of Washington, completing studies in 1988 and 1986, respectively.
