Maria Galvagna Mesinger serves as a Partner at Lawson & Weitzen, LLP since April 2013, specializing in complex general litigation with a focus on white collar criminal defense, commercial litigation, and internal corporate investigations. In addition to legal practice, Maria is a Grant Management Committee Member for the Essex County Community Foundation. Previous roles include President of the Board of Trustees at STEVENS MEMORIAL LIBRARY, Of Counsel at Looney & Grossman LLP, and Assistant Attorney General at the Massachusetts Attorney General's Office. Maria also provided legal counsel for the House Committee on Ethics in the Massachusetts State House and directed manpower programs for the Greater Lawrence Community Action Council Inc. Maria holds a Juris Doctor from Suffolk University Law School and a Bachelor's degree in Political Science from Bates College.
