Rajan Venkatesh

Rajan Venkatesh has a diverse and extensive work experience in the chemical industry. Rajan is currently the CEO and Managing Director at Laxmi Organic Industries Ltd. Prior to this, they held various roles at BASF, including Senior Vice President - Care Chemicals Asia Pacific and Vice President in different divisions. Rajan also served as the Regional Head of Investment Projects, Business Management Petrochemical, and Global Key Account Manager at BASF. Earlier in their career, Rajan worked as a Research Scientist and Project Manager at Eindhoven University of Technology. Rajan has filed several patent applications and published international research papers.

Rajan Venkatesh pursued a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Polymer Chemistry from Eindhoven University of Technology from 2000 to 2004. Prior to that, they completed a Master of Philosophy (M.Phil.) degree in Polymer Chemistry from The University of Manchester from 1999 to 2000. Rajan's educational journey began with a Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Polymer Chemistry from the Institute Of Chemical Technology, which they obtained between 1996 and 1998.
