Gerard Metzer

Gerard Metzer is an experienced sales and marketing professional with a strong background in the coatings industry and business strategy. Currently serving as the Head of Sales for DiY at Laydex Building Solutions since April 2022, Gerard previously held the role of Chief Marketing Officer at The Bridge from January 2015 to April 2022 and at The Unlimited from March 2016 to February 2020. Prior experience includes positions as Marketing Director at Chemical Specialities and Plascon SA, contributing to significant expertise in marketing within the coatings sector. Gerard holds a degree in Specialized Digital Marketing from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign and has furthered education at Wits Business School.
