Jack A.

Jack A. is currently employed as a Software Engineer at Layer since 2021. Prior to this role, they worked as an Application Software Engineer Intern at Marble Technologies in 2021. In 2020, they held the role of Lead Embedded Systems Developer at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, where they designed an embedded systems architecture for data intake, transmission, and aggregation, and coded a low-level, interconnected, memory-sensitive solution for running on ATMega 2560 microprocessor. Jack also held the role of Chapter Secretary at Phi Kappa Theta Fraternity, managing communication and productivity tools for the 80+ men of their fraternity. In 2020, they were also a Cyber Security Architecture Intern at Honeywell, developing and publishing a security architecture model and writing and publishing a security position statement on the use and potential of homomorphic encryption. In 2019, they were a Mission Systems Cyber Systems Intern at Northrop Grumman, contributing to a back-end Java program for detecting conflicting cyber and air missions for mission planners. In 2018, they were a Mission Systems Cybersecurity Intern at Northrop Grumman, building and deploying tools for cataloging and displaying project outcomes for internal users with Microsoft SharePoint. Jack A. has also been self-employed as a Website Designer/Developer since 2014 and was a Nebraska Delegate for the National Youth Science Foundation in 2017. Additionally, they were an Intern at blaXmith in 2016, refining skills including 2D and 3D CAD, CNC machine operation, and DMX lighting control.

Jack A. graduated from Ainsworth High School in 2017 with a High School Diploma. Jack then attended the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, where they earned a Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering in 2021.
