David Sontag

David Sontag is the Chief Executive Officer of Layer Health. Previously, David held positions as a Professor in EECS at Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Principal Scientist & Chief Health Strategist at ASAPP, and Assistant Professor at New York University. David has also worked as a Postdoctoral Researcher at Microsoft Research New England and as a Research and Engineering Intern at Google. David holds a Ph.D. in Computer Science from Massachusetts Institute of Technology and a BA in Computer Science from the University of California, Berkeley. David's expertise lies in machine learning and artificial intelligence, with a focus on applying these technologies to healthcare.
