Wen-Yang Ku

Wen-Yang Ku has extensive work experience in the field of machine learning and data science engineering. Wen-Yang most recently worked at Layer 6 AI as a Senior Manager of Machine Learning Engineering, starting in April 2023. Prior to that, they held a role at Aviva Canada as a Manager of Data Science Engineering from April 2021 to April 2023. Wen-Yang also served as a Senior Machine Learning Engineer at Aviva Canada from October 2019 to March 2021. Before joining Aviva Canada, they worked at QINDOM as a Senior Machine Learning Scientist from August 2018 to October 2019, and at Canadian Tire Corporation as a Senior Operations Research and Data Scientist from June 2017 to August 2018.

Wen-Yang Ku holds a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree in Artificial Intelligence and Operations Research from the University of Toronto. Prior to pursuing their Ph.D., they obtained a Master's Degree in Computer Science from McGill University. Wen-Yang completed their undergraduate studies at National Taiwan University, where they earned a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science. Additionally, Wen-Yang Ku has obtained several certifications, including the AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner from Amazon Web Services (AWS) and various courses related to machine learning and data science from platforms such as Coursera and Udemy.
