Dr. Monica Hinton RCSW has over 17 years of experience in various therapeutic roles, currently serving as the owner of Raven Counselling Services Inc. and a mental health therapist providing virtual therapy in Ontario since 2019. Dr. Hinton recently facilitated a masters of counselling ethics course at Yorkville University and has an extensive background in individual and couple therapy with the Department of National Defence from 2011 to 2022. Notable presentations include discussions on barriers to care for Canadian Armed Forces members at the Australian Rural & Remote Mental Health Symposium and teaching on PTSD and resilience at various health events. Dr. Hinton holds a Doctor of Social Sciences degree from Royal Roads University and a Master’s of Social Work degree from the University of Calgary.
