Marcus Chew

Chief Marketing Officer at Lazada

Marcus Chew is the current Chief Marketing Officer at Lazada. Prior to this, they were the Head of Brand Marketing in China for Adidas from May 2008 to August 2013. In this role, they were responsible for managing and directing the sports performance brand marketing working budget according to divisional priorities. Marcus also led the development of communication plans and detailed budgets including PR, Digital Marketing and Brand Communications.

Chew has also won multiple awards for their work in marketing, including an Effie Gold for the Women's Campaign, and an Effie silver for the Running Campaign. Marcus has also won PR APAC SABRE awards for best publicity stunt, and multiple digital awards for achieving 1 million fans in the euro 2012 digital campaign.

Marcus Chew has an Executive MBA from INSEAD in Business Administration and Management, General. Marcus also has a Bachelor of Business double major in Marketing and e-Commerce from Edith Cowan University.

Their manager is James Dong, Group CEO. Marcus Chew works with Frank Luo - CFO, Yann Fontaine - COO, Thailand, and Lillian Jiang - Chief People Officer.
