Michael Lang

Michael Lang has extensive experience in the tech and logistics sectors, currently serving as the Chief Technology Officer of Logistics at Lazada and Chief Logistics Officer of Miravia in Spain since March 2019. Lang has led significant upgrades to Lazada's logistics systems in collaboration with Alibaba and Cainiao, resulting in cost reductions of over 20% and enhanced stability during campaigns. Prior experience includes holding senior technical roles at Cainiao Network, where Lang was instrumental in designing the cross-border logistics architecture and internationalizing the WMS system. Additional roles at Alipay and Alibaba Group involved developing secure open products and contributing to mobile platform infrastructure. Michael Lang holds a bachelor's degree in Biotechnology from Jiangsu University (2002-2006).
