Birgitta Gough Cooper

Birgitta Gough Cooper is a seasoned finance professional with extensive experience in operations and financial advisory. Since 1996, Gough Cooper has held multiple roles at Lazard, currently serving as Managing Director and Head of Operations for Lazard UK Financial Advisory, managing a range of COO responsibilities including budgets, client marketing, and HR matters. Additionally, Gough Cooper is a Trustee of the Lazard Staff and Directors Pension Funds and was previously a Director in the Financial Institutions Group. Currently, Gough Cooper also serves as a Board Member and Chair of the Finance Committee for the Swedish Chamber of Commerce for the UK and is a Founder Trustee for the UK Friends of Stockholm School of Economics. Prior experience includes a managerial role at Enskilda Securities, focusing on privatizations, IPOs, and M&A projects. Gough Cooper holds a Master of Business Administration in Finance from the Stockholm School of Economics.
