Colin Murphy

Colin Murphy is an accomplished investment banking professional currently serving as an Investment Banking Analyst at Lazard, with a focus on restructuring and liability management since July 2024. Previously, Colin held the position of Senior Equity Analyst at Desautels Capital Management, where responsibilities included covering the materials sector for McGill University’s student-run investment fund. Colin also gained valuable experience as a McGill Varsity Baseball team member and completed multiple internships, including a Summer Analyst role at Lazard focusing on M&A and restructuring in summer 2023, and a Special Situations Summer Analyst position at CION Investments, where due diligence was performed on distressed investment opportunities. Colin's educational background includes a Bachelor of Commerce with Honors in Investment Management and a minor in Computer Science from McGill University, completed in April 2024, after obtaining a High School Diploma from Newark Academy in June 2020.
